Cayden Nelson Quim passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022 after complications from heart surgery.  Cayden was born on August 20th of 2018 to parents Nelson and Michele, their first and only child. Cayden was playful, joyful, and loved showing affection.  Everyone that met Cayden was touched by his sweetness and charming personality.

Cayden was happy with the simple things in life.  He enjoyed reading books and his favorites were the Little Blue Truck and flip books like Where's Baby's Mommy, Daddy & Me, and Vroom Vroom Trucks.  He loved being in water at the neighborhood splash pads and in his swimming pool.  He especially looked forward to bath time and would take mama's or dada's hands to lead them to the tub everyday.  Most of all, he just wanted to spend time with his parents, whether going on carousel rides or playing on a swing at the park for hours.

Cayden really enjoyed being at The Spectrum of Hope and The Learning Lane where all his instructors adored him as he was the sweetest boy who loved saying "hi" and giving out hugs.

Cayden's favorite entertainment was watching Dave and Ava on YouTube.  He also enjoyed listening to music and would hum to his favorite nursery rhymes such as Three Blind Mice and Old McDonald.

Cayden had a lot of medical challenges but he was the perfect boy in his parents' eyes.  His life was tragically cut short but he is now in the arms of the Lord.

Cayden is survived by his parents, Nelson and Michele, and his grandparents, Po Ling, Julieta, Leonardo and Rubi. A celebration of Cayden's life will be held December 30 at Trinity Klein Lutheran Church with visitation at 9:00 a.m. and service following at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Trinity Klein Lutheran Church or the Heart Center at Texas Children's Hospital ( give.texaschildrens.org
