Cathy Ann Olsen left this earth to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022.  She was born on August 4, 1958 in Houston, TX as the first child of Charles James Howard, Sr. and Cathryn Lea Cauthron Howard.  Cathy is survived by her mother, Cathryn Cauthron Howard, her sister Cynthia Howard Hennig, her brother Charles James Howard, Jr., three nieces, Emma Catherine Hennig, Olivia Ann Hennig, Hannah Elise Hennig and four nephews Charlton Glenn Ridings, Christian Wade Ridings, Dominick Christian Howard and Garrett Emerson Howard.  She is preceded in death by her father Charles James Howard, Sr., her husband Jon Peter Olsen and her sister Charlene Ruth Ridings

Upon graduation from Klein High School in 1976 Cathy embarked on her college career at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, TX where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1981.  While in school Cathy studied art in Paris, France.

When the Howard Family moved to Colorado Cathy joined them.  After taking the job of Concierge at Howard Air she met Jon who was hired to handle baggage with intentions to advance with the company as a pilot.  They were married at the Beaver Creek Chapel on November 23, 1990. Jon's career led them to Aspen Aviation and Cathy to the Marriott in Snowmass, CO.  Cathy soon became ill and in need of a liver transplant.  The couple relocated to Houston.  After a successful transplant in 1993 they settled in Hitchcock, TX. The couple opened P Factor Aviation on Galveston Island where Jon gave flying lessons and Cathy booked the flights and ground school.  After Jon's death on October 15, 2006 Cathy returned back to Houston to live with her mother, Cathryn Howard in the family home.  In 2015 Cathy and Cathryn moved to their shared forever home in Spring TX.  Even in her declining health she took pleasure in driving her mother and roommate crazy by watching endless hours of home renovation and Hallmark shows.
