Cathlyn (Cathy) Politz Mayson passed away in Her home in Somerville,Tx July 18th, 2022 at the age of 73. She was born in Donaldsonville, La on February 26th, 1949. Cathy is survived by Her Husband of 54 years, John Mayson. Her Brother, Tim Politz. Brother-in-laws, Paul Brown, Sam Mayson and Sister-in-law, Ruth Mayson. Son, Brent Mayson and Wife, Jessica. Daughter, Cheri Longan and Husband, James. Granddaughter, Danielle Salazar and Husband, Anthony. Grandsons, Caleb Longan and Joseph Mayson. Great Grandson, Knox Salazar and Great Granddaughter, Sloan Salazar. Also many Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Anthony Joseph and Kate Denoux Politz. Her Sister, Terry Politz Brown and Her Grandson, Jacob Longan.

Special thanks to Her caregiver, Brandi Warner, and Her Daughter, Trinitie Warner. Also thank you Traditions Hospice Care. A happier person was not known to Her family and friends. She was an Angel on earth who dedicated Her life to caring for others. She had such joy for life and will be forever in our hearts.

Cathy's family is requesting all donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
