Our sweet Catherine Marie Rosson passed away in Cypress, Texas on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.  After many years of suffering several uncurable illnesses, she was called to heaven and is free from all pain and suffering.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father Raymond Conaway; her father Leslie Oszakiewski; brother-in-law William Jay Herring, and several family members.  Cathy is survived by her husband, Chet Rosson; and her loving son and daughter-in-law, Brandon Conaway and Aleksandra Dagunts; and her stepchildren, Blake and Bekah Rosson.  She is also survived by her mother, Sonia Oszakiewski; sisters, Michelle Herring and Jeannette Conaway; and nieces, Bailey and Avery Herring.

Cathy was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on August 5, 1971.  She graduated from Northwest High School in Justin, Texas in May of 1989.  Cathy studied and worked as a medical assistant and worked at several physician offices in Dallas and Amarillo.  In 1993, her world changed with the birth of her son Brandon Conaway, who was her pride & joy from the moment she passed.

Cathy met her true love, Chet Rosson, and married on Dec 8th, 2007.  They were married for nearly 18 beautiful years.  Cathy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who came across her beautiful smile.  Despite her own pain and suffering, Cathy remained sweet & selfless, always ready to help others.  Her love for her family and friends shone through in the countless ways she gave of herself.

Cathy had an unbelievable faith in our Lord that was deeply rooted and unwavering.  She taught us love and love of family, but most importantly, to trust God and to have faith.  Cathy had a talent and passion for writing beautiful messages that touched our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 25th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church – 19222 Tomball Parkway, Houston, TX  77070.  A reception will immediately follow the service in the Church Community Center.
