BURKE

Carroll Lee Burke was born December 20, 1933 in Elgin, Texas and passed away the morning of Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Spring, Texas. He grew up in Brazoria, Texas. He later moved to Spring, Texas and has been a resident of Spring for 47 years. Carroll enjoyed many years of bowling with his wife, golfing, watching a good old ball game and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. Carroll is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Averline Caroline Burke, son and daughter-in-law John and Dawnette Burke, son and daughter-in-law Phillip Burke and Tina Ogden-Burke, four beautiful grandchildren Kristie Leann Burke, Jacob David Burke, Owen Carroll Burke and Jenna Marie Burke.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or charity of your choice in Carroll Lee Burke's honor.
