Carrie Lynn Galloway, age 78, went to be with God in Heaven on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

Born on July 28, 1942 in Texarkana, AR, Carrie graduated from Henderson State University with a degree in Education in 1964 and moved to Helena, AR to start her teaching career. It was there where she met the love of her life, Tommy Galloway. The two were married in 1967 and celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past  June.

Carrie is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Carrie Stewart. She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Galloway, son, Curtis Galloway and wife, Leah, daughter, Corrie Flora and her 4 grandchildren, Carson and Carly Flora and Beau and Dax Galloway and her sister, Joyce Varner of Texarkana, AR.

Carrie loved watching any game the Arkansas Razorbacks were playing. She and Tommy would often travel to Call the Hogs live in person during football season. Her second sports love was the Houston Astros. She loved listening to music, reading, cross-stitching, baking and spoiling her grandchildren rotten. Carrie will always be much loved and greatly missed.
