Carolyn Jean Inman Williams, age 87, of Conroe, Texas, went to be with Jesus on January 7, 2026. She passed away peacefully at home. She was born October 12, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of the late Sharon Clayton Inman and Ezia Mae Holdridge.

She grew up in Mountainburg, ARK and later attended Northeastern Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College in Miami, Oklahoma where she was a member of the Norse Stars drill team. Over the many years of her life, her favorite activities included traveling/dancing with Round Dancing group, loving her dogs and cats, traveling with friends or family, being a member of a National Medical Assistants group and most of all, spending time with her family. For most of her career she worked at, and or managed various medical offices. She loved singing in the Church Choir and crocheting blankets for loved ones and people in need, she loved her garden, pretty things and the color blue. She was patriotic, loved God deeply and faithfully. She was so impressed by towering trees and fluffy white clouds; she was always looking up at God's marvelous creation! Her favorite activity at her recent home was singing Karaoke with fellow residents at Heritage Oaks Assisted Living in Conroe Texas.

While all of her fun activities were important to her, no role was more important to her than family roles of wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Carolyn was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas E. (Sonny) Williams. She is survived by, and was a loving mother to 2 sons, Paul H. Davidson, Jr. and wife Juletta, and David D. Davidson and wife, Kelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brian E. Davidson and Mel, Paul H. Davidson III and Mackenzie, Brett T. Davidson and Jessica, Deana R. Olszewski and Paul, and Hanna K. Davidson. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Lily C. Davidson, Caleb M. Davidson, Jayden C. Olszewski, Judith G. Olszewski, Byron N. Olszewski. Her loving siblings include: older sister Eloise F. Ragland, and younger brother, Larry Inman and Diana. Additionally, her nieces and great niece were also an important part of her life and family. She loved nothing more than family visits and family fun!

A celebration of life honoring Carolyn will be held at Klein Memorial Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354 on January 17 at 6:00 pm, and family visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 pm. Since Blue was her favorite color, we encourage those who want, to wear blue in celebration and memory of Carolyn and her beautiful soul!

Carolyn had a long list of medical challenges in her later years. She was a classic Timex watch; she would take a licking, but keep on ticking! Our family wishes to express gratitude to the staff and caregivers of Heritage Oaks Assisted Living in Conroe, Texas, New Age Hospice of Houston, Texas, Dr. Sarah Hallbauer and the many other physicians and caregivers in the community who cared for her medical needs. Each of you added to her life in significant ways and we are so grateful for the loving care you provided her.

Carolyn will be remembered for her love of singing and her beautiful soprano voice, her sweet countenance, her kind eyes, her infectious laughter, and her hugs. She always opened her arms wide and gave huge, tight hugs that would last for long precious moments. We hope she can still feel our reciprocating hugs in heaven!
