Carolyn Jean Beisert Drews of Cypress, Texas, died unexpectedly on December 31, 2018, at the age of 77.  She is survived by her husband, Melvin "Sonny" Drews; children Steve Drews, Tim Drews and wife, Gwen; her granddaughters, Tiffany Drews and Tarrah Drews; her great grandson, Trevor Clopton, and her brother, Leroy Beisert and wife Diana.  She is predeceased by her parents: Walter Earnest Beisert and Emma Reuther Beisert; her brother, Milton Beisert, and sister, Frances Gruetzner.

Carolyn was born on December 13, 1941, in Loebau, Texas.  She married Melvin Drews on June 27, 1959, and moved to Houston, Texas.  They have resided in Cypress, Texas, since 1981.  They have operated M. Drews Plumbing Company for the last 25 years.  Carolyn was a wonderful wife and mother to her sons attending all of their sporting events.  She enjoyed hunting and fishing.  She also enjoyed planting tomatoes every Spring.  She had a great love for animals, especially her labrador retrievers.

She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Cypress, Texas.  Her sense of humor and kindness will be missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019, at Klein Funeral Home located at 1400 W. Main St., Tomball, Texas, 77375.  A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.  Burial immediately following at the Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, Texas, 77362.
