Obituary

Carolyn Sue Brewer, 87, of Tomball, passed away September 23, 2022.  She was born July 14, 1935, in Ratliff City, Oklahoma to the late Doyle Wright and Minta Clark Wright.

Carolyn Wright Brewer was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to her loving husband, Jack, for sixty-eight years. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joys.
She worked in the medical field for many years as an assistant for various dentists and doctors. She taught Sunday school for over forty years. While Jack was executive director at Boys and Girls Country, she worked alongside him and also in the founding and running of Girl's country. She prepared hundreds of meals in the Fish Inn at Girl's Country to support the ministry, working in public relations and with the ladies auxiliary. She ran her own furniture business for a while.
Carolyn loved God, her family, and people. She was known for her love of studying the Bible and meeting the needs of others. People  knew her for her natural red hair, (her weekly hair appointment was sacred!), and her impeccable dress.

She is survived by her, son, Lee Brewer (Cheryl); daughter, Lisa Buffaloe (Dennis); daughter, Lynn Brewer Wessinger; grandson, Scott Buffaloe; granddaughter, Annabelle Wessinger Stuart (Collin); grandson, Bryan Taylor Wessinger; granddaughter, Kelly Brewer.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her, husband, Rev. Jack A. Brewer and granddaughter, Jenny Wessinger.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 1pm to 2pm at Klein Funeral Home Tomball 1400 W Main St. Tomball, TX 77375.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 2pm at Klein Funeral Home Tomball 1400 W Main St. Tomball, TX 77375, with Pastor James Clark officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Boys and Girls Country of Houston. http://boysandgirlscountry.org
