Carolita Tiongco Curiano reunited with our Lord on May 14, 2022, after nearly two years of battling cancer.

She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

She is survived by her sisters (May and Fe), her brothers (Cesar and Jun),

her children (Maria, Carlo, and Chris), her son-in-law and daughters-in-law,

12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews.

Carolita (Carol) was born March 27, 1946 in Batangas, Philippines to Perfecto and Fe Tiongco.

She moved to Houston with her children in the 80s.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she enjoyed spending days with family, especially the holidays.

Her favorite was having a boodle fight picnics on Easter Sundays at Burroughs Park.

She loved being "Mommy/Tita/Nonna Ganda" to everyone and touched the lives of many, including those who only had brief encounters with her.

Many describe Carol as full of life and young at heart. She was not only nurturing and compassionate, but she was also strong and honest.

Carol's faith was very important and defined her. She prayed her Rosary and her Chaplet multiple times a day.

It was what gave her peace and calm especially during difficult times.

Even when cancer turned her life upside down, she did not let it define her.

She also had a passion for fashion; she could often be found in the mall with one of her grandchildren, shopping for clothes. She enjoyed making dresses and also found true enjoyment in cooking. Her Thanksgiving ham and various Filipino desserts were highly sought out by family and friends.

She was disciplined and a hard worker. She was very detail-oriented and her mind was sharp as a whip. Carol loved her career; she had been working in medical billing for decades.

She encouraged all her family members to aim for success in all aspects of life.

She was very proud of her family and was their number one supporter.

Carol impacted many's lives and will be missed so dearly. Through our memories, she will forever be etched in our thoughts. And through her ever-persistent love, she will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation will be held on May 24, 2022 at 6-8 pm, Klein Funeral Home in Champions (16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379), with a rosary starting at 7 pm led by Fr. Van Vliet, FSSP.

The Requiem Mass will be held on May 25, 2022 at 11 am, Regina Caeli Parish (8121 Breen Dr, Houston, TX 77064). This is a Latin traditional mass and parish, please dress modestly.

The Mass will be followed by the Rite of Committal at Klein Memorial Park (9714 Farm to Market 2920, Tomball, TX 77375).

A repass/reception will follow at the Woodlands Country Club.
