Carol Jean Theiss, 78, passed from this life on July 29, 2024 in The Woodlands, TX surrounded by her loved one's. She was born to the late Frank and Clara Sentesi on March 7, 1946 in Westfield, TX.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Klein Texas since her marriage to Ronald H. Theiss (Ronnie) on June 17, 1966. Some of her church activities included teaching Sunday School for many years, Chairwoman of the Church Picnic Committee and many volunteer positions at Trinity Lutheran School. Carol's loves in life were gardening, animals (all animals), trips to the hill country and the beach, family, and crochet. Carol has crocheted countless baby blankets, angels, gift items and most recently an afghan for every member of her large family. Through numerous health challenges that Carol experienced in adulthood, not the least of which her double lung transplant on June 1, 2003, her spirit, strength and will to survive and thrive were an inspiration to all she met. Throughout Carol's life, she was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, sharing his good news with all she met including the many caregivers taking care of her in her final days.
Those left to cherish her memories are her Husband Ronald Theiss, Son Steven Theiss and wife Brenda, Daughter Melissa Cody and husband Steve, Son Aaron Theiss and wife Carrie. Brother Herb Sentesi and wife Mary Lou, Sister Clara Ann McWilliams, Sister Mary Cravatt and husband James, Sister Peggy Sentesi. Granddaughter Brittany Laurentz and husband Andy, Grandson Jesse Theiss, Grandson Jacob Theiss, Granddaughter Brooke Schomburg, Grandson James Cody, Grandson Connor Cody, Granddaughter Audrey Theiss, Granddaughter Ainsley Theiss.
She is preceded in death by her Parents – Frank and Clara Sentesi. Brother-in-law – Laverne McWilliams
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
