Carol Ann McCullar, age 70, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 25, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1952, in Newport News, Virginia. She later moved to Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, John David McCullar and the two were married on June 28, 1968.

Carol taught Pre-K at Melrose Baptist School and worked as a Purchasing Document Controller at Crane Man.

Carol was a proud, dedicated, and loving mother to her three boys. She cheered them on at sporting events and raised them to be wonderful men. She loved when John David would show her pictures and tell her about current projects that were going on in the country, going shopping for antiques or taking a drive up to the country with Patrick, and laughing around the kitchen table, chatting about current events with Anthony.

Carol will long be remembered for her kind and gentle nature. She saw the good in everyone she met. She loved her family with her whole heart and will be missed by so many.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 55 years, John David McCullar Sr; her three sons and their wives, John David and Charlene McCullar, Patrick Wayne and Rosemary McCullar, Anthony Edward and Erin McCullar; grandchildren Matthew, Sarah, Laura, Caleb, Taylor, Savannah, and Austin; step-grandchildren Ashley, CJ, and Harley; great-grandchildren Katie, Blake, Skylar, Freddy, and Samuel; and her mother Stella Berry. Carol is preceded in death by her brother Albert and her sister Lois.
