Carol Jean Harget was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cherished friend whose life was defined by the love she gave to others and the memories created along the way.

Carol had a heart for family and a gift for making people feel like they belonged. To know Carol was to know her warmth, her humor, her strength, and her love for the people around her. She leaves behind a legacy that reaches far beyond a lifetime -a legacy carried on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and the many friends whose lives she touched.

Carol was proud to have been part of the history of Tomball, Texas, where she helped open the original Wal-Mart. She spent many years working there before eventually retiring. Throughout her career, Carol built friendships with and connections with people who became more than just coworkers-they became friends she considered family.

Retirement did not slow Carol down. For 20 years, she enjoyed playing bingo, where she found laughter, friendship, and a wonderful community of people she came to love. Bingo became a special part of her life, and the friendships she made there were treasured. Carol knew how to enjoy life, surround herself with people, and turn ordinary moments into memories.

Above all, Carol loved her family. Her family was one the greatest blessings of her life, and she leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured forever. Her laughter, stories, love, and presence will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Though Carol’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave will never fade.

She will live on in the stories told around family tables, in the laughter shared between loved ones, in the friendships she made, and in the hearts of every person fortunate enough to have known her.
