Carol was actively involved in several genealogical societies including Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century, Dutch Colonial Society, New England Women and Daughters of Founders and Patriots. She was Chaplain General for Colonial Dames and served as the Texas State President and the Organizing Chapter President of the Cross Trails Chapter. Goeking, Jr; her son Kent Goeking and his wife Mena Boonchu Goeking of Bangkok, Thailand; her daughter Sandra Cameron and husband Todd Cameron of Dublin, Ohio; and grandchildren Scott Cameron, Megan Cameron, Max Dekle, and Kris Goeking along with several nieces and nephews.
