It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Sue Bright Adams, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2025 at the age of 77. She was a breast cancer survivor for more than twenty years, but lost a hard fought battle to pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home.

Sue was born on October 6, 1947 in Houston, Texas and worked 49 years at National Oilwell Varco, before retiring and moving to her dream home in Montgomery, Texas. She lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and love. She dedicated herself to her family, raising her children with unwavering patience and instilling in them the values of compassion, hard work, and faith. To her grandchildren she was known as "Granny Blue" and was a source of endless warmth, laughter, and wisdom—always ready with a gentle hug, a listening ear, and a story to share.

Sue found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was going out to dinner, playing games, or hanging out with her sisters or friends, she lived life to the fullest. Her generosity and nurturing spirit touched not only her family but also friends, neighbors, and often a stranger she would stop to help.

She is survived by her children Robert Adams; Joseph Adams and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Emily Adams and Brayden Adams; siblings Linda Eubanks and husband Randy; Don Bright and wife Debra; Marlene Hopkins and husband Bill; and Teresa Buckley, and husband Cliff; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and of course her loyal dog, Poppy who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy Bright and her son William Robert Adams III.

A celebration of her life will be held on October 6, 2025 at 2:00PM at Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of the incredible woman she was and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Sue requested those in attendance to wear her favorite color, blue.

Though she is no longer with us in person, her light will continue to shine brightly
through the countless lives she touched.
