Carlos Gerardo Silva, de 67 años, residente de Hockley, Texas, falleció el jueves 23 de abril de 2026. Nació el 24 de septiembre de 1958 en San Luis Potosí, México, hijo del Sr. Donato Silva y la Sra. Blanca de la Fuente.

Carlos fue una persona alegre, responsable, dedicada a su trabajo y profundamente comprometida con su familia. Quienes lo conocieron lo recuerdan como un hombre servicial, trabajador y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, alguien que iluminaba cualquier espacio con su sonrisa sincera.

Durante muchos años trabajó como mesero y bartender en Bayou Club, donde se ganó el cariño y respeto de los miembros y de sus compañeros de trabajo. Para él, ese lugar no era solo un empleo: era una segunda familia, un sitio donde dejó huella con su amabilidad, su ética laboral y su trato cálido.

Fuera del trabajo, Carlos disfrutaba intensamente de la vida. Le encantaba bailar, viajar, escuchar música, hacer carne asada y compartir momentos alegres. También encontraba felicidad en las cosas simples del hogar: limpiar su jardín, mejorar su casa y pasar tiempo al lado de su esposa, con quien formó un equipo lleno de amor y dedicación.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa Rosa María Ruiz; sus hijos Juan Carlos, Mónica, Maythe, Gerardo, Carlos, Samuel y Priscila; sus nietos Bridget, Desiree, Eduardo y Dany; y su hermana Rosa de la Fuente.

Carlos Gerardo Silva, 67, a resident of Hockley, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was born on September 24, 1958, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, the son of Mr. Donato Silva and Mrs. Blanca de la Fuente.

Carlos was a joyful, responsible person, dedicated to his work and deeply committed to his family. Those who knew him remember him as a helpful, hardworking man who was always willing to lend a hand—someone who could light up any room with his sincere smile.

For many years, he worked as a waiter and bartender at Bayou Club, where he earned the affection and respect of both members and coworkers. To him, that place was not just a job—it was a second family, a place where he left his mark through his kindness, strong work ethic, and warm personality.

Outside of work, Carlos truly enjoyed life. He loved dancing, traveling, listening to music, grilling, and sharing joyful moments. He also found happiness in the simple things at home: tending to his yard, improving his house, and spending time alongside his wife, with whom he built a partnership full of love and dedication.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa María Ruiz; his children, Juan Carlos, Mónica, Maythe, Gerardo, Carlos, Samuel, and Priscila; his grandchildren, Bridget, Desiree, Eduardo, and Dany; and his sister, Rosa de la Fuente.
