Carleen Alicia Rahn, 53, of Tomball, TX, passed away with her parents by her side on March 7, 2017.  She was born May 5, 1963, in New Hartford, NY.

At a young age, she developed a special place in her heart for animals, particularly rescue animals.

In 1975 Carleen moved with her family to San Antonio Texas where she attended and graduated from James Madison High School (Class of '81). She loved being a photographer for the high school yearbook, as it allowed her to pursue her love of photography.

In 1981 Carleen moved with her family to Oklahoma City. She worked for the Hyde's Drug store chain for several years and was a personal favorite of Mr. Hyde himself.  He helped finance Carleen's education so she could move on to the next chapter of her life.

In 1994, Carleen graduated from Oklahoma City Community College with an Associate's degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant and a 4.0 GPA!. Carleen loved working in Home Health, as helping others came easily to her. Her patients developed such a fondness for Carleen, they kept in touch with her even after their treatment was complete!

In 2015, Carleen made one more move with her parents to Tomball, Texas to be near her brother, nieces, nephew and great-nieces. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her young great-nieces play.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Marilyn Jo Rahn; brother, Jeffrey Rahn and wife Suzette; nieces, Jessica Lassen and husband Justin, and Jillian Rahn; nephew Alex Rahn; and grand nieces, Bailey and Olivia Lassen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Jeff & Suzette Rahn on Saturday March 25th from 2:00-5:00 pm, 12011 Iris Canyon Dr, Tomball, TX, 77377.
