Carl Joseph King was born in Portland, Indiana on August 22, 1957 to Carl Omar King and Delores King (née Kidder), and passed away in Bryan, Texas on November 13, 2019.

Carl was a kind, dedicated and fiercely loyal person who never hesitated to reach out and lend a hand. During his life he touched thousands of lives and made countless friendships. There was always a smile on his face and advice ready at the helm.

He enjoyed riding his bike, grilling and never met a golf course he didn't like. He cheered on his favorite teams; The Houston Rockets, Texans, Astros and Texas Longhorns whether across the country or in his own home.

Carl's pride and joy in life was his wife Stacye and son Tyler. He and Stacye were married for 29 years. Tyler and Carl shared a special love for their favorite team the Houston Rockets. They shared many special moments attending Rockets games and various other sporting events.

Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl Omar King, and survived by his loving wife, Stacye; son, Tyler and daughter-in-law, Vicky; mother, Delores; sisters and their husbands, Crystal and Tom Laux, Connie and Marv Moolenaar, Carla and Terry Elzey, and Colleen and Dana Dodson; parents-in-law, Ray Barton and Martha, mother-in-law Virginia Barton; sister-in-law, Kimberley Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Carl will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX 77379. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Carl King National MS Society Memorial Fund.
