Carl R Cook's Obituary
Carl Ray Cook, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on August 12th, 1944, to John Sherman and Cynthia Alene Cook in Corwin, OH.
Carl was an amazing man that always lived his life on his own terms. He owned and operated two successful businesses, Process Computer Technologies and Indian Mill & Lumber where he invented and patented the Pin Lok planking system and testing system. Carl was a Free Mason, a member of the Scaffold & Access Industry Association, and a member of Special Government Services.
In addition to his business successes, his personal passion has always been his faith in God and his love for the outdoors. Carl graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theology, Electrical Engineering and was one of the founders of the Full Gospel Tabernacle church in Waynesville, OH. Carl enjoyed his many hunting adventures in Africa, New Zealand, and the rest of the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Alene Cook, and his wife of 46 years, JoAnne Cook, to whom he was married on December 19, 1964.
Carl is survived by his wife, Beverly Dianne Cook; sons, Dean Cook and wife Tara and Darrick Cook and his wife Sandy; daughter, Carla Eichman and husband Kevin Eichman; grandchildren, Garrett Cook, Grahm Cook, Faith Cook, Grace Cook, Anah Eichman, James Eichman, and Travis Eichman; brothers, Ralph Cook and Ronald Cook; sister, Ada Fox; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment in Klein Memorial Park, SH 249, Pinehurst.
