Camie Lynne Corliss, 63, of Cypress, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 22nd 2023. Camie was born on August 22nd, 1960 in Houston, TX, to her parents David Lee Schurmann & Margaret Ann Pritchett Schurmann. Those left to cherish Camie's memory are her husband of 44 years, Rick Corliss, their children, daughter Casey Corliss-Dockens & husband Chris Dockens, Granddaughter Audrey Deruelle 10, Grandson  Daniel Deruelle 8, son Chad Corliss & wife Diana Corliss, Granddaughter Brilee Corliss 12, Grandson Everett Corliss 6, Daughter Kelly Copeland & husband Kevin Copeland, Grandson Connor Copeland 8. Father, David Schurmann, sister Devie Goodwin (Greg), Brother Kirk Schurmann (Patti) & sister Glynis Tyler (Glen) along with numerous loving nieces & nephews & great grands, niece Amelia Tittle 9 & nephew Brooks Schurmann 6 months.


She was proceded in death by her Grand parents Carl & Alma Schurmann, Grandparents Troy & Ruby Pritchett, Mother, Margaret Ann Pritchett Schurmann, nephew Kyle Schurmann & in laws Ted & Shirley Corliss.


Camie was brought up in the Cy-Fair Community, attending St. Johns Lutheran Church of Cypress. She graduated highschool from Cy-Fair in 1978 were she met her highschool sweet heart, Rick Corliss. Rick & Camie were married on July 28th, 1979. Together, along with their parents, they raised their three children in Cypress. Camie worked as a special needs bus driver for the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School district and retired after 29 years of faithful service to the community. She was rarely absent and enjoyed working with her students. Camie was a quiet, strong & independent woman who loved soduko, sewing, quilting, antiques, traveling, diet coke, mexican food & Christmas mornings. The joy of Camie's life was her family, three children and grandchildren. Camie was always on the go, enjoying roadtrips & watching her grandchildren at their various sporting events. She was an extraordinary quilter & provided her family with an abundance of quilts they will cherish beyond a life time.


There are no words that could describe the depth of her loss or the amount of devotion she provided her family. She will always be cherished & missed greatly.
