Calvin King was born on April 18, 1951, in Logansport, Indiana, to Orville and Bernice King. He was the third of five children. Calvin and Ann were married in January of 1976. Calvin was self-employed in construction and known as the "sealcoat man". He lived in Tomball, Texas, but traveled all of his life and loved the dessert and mountains.
He is survived by his wife Ann; his three daughters and their families: Jessica and her husband Gary, Patty and her husband Heath, and Linda and her husband Joe; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Larry, and his family; his sister, Linda, and her family; and many other family and friends who loved and admired him.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 25, at Tomball Bible Church, 400 N. Walnut Street, Tomball, TX 77375. The service is being officiated by his beloved sister, Wanda King. Interment will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Tomball.
