Caleb "Cale" Festus Parker, born on December 4, 1939, in Cheraw, South Carolina, to Lillar and George Parker, passed away peacefully in the hospital on October 18, 2024. He lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and community.

Cale developed a strong work ethic at a young age, which was further reinforced during his service in the United States Marine Corps. He had a successful career as a project manager for large-scale construction companies in the Petrochemical industry, notably contributing to projects like the South Texas Nuclear project in Bay City with Brown and Root. His journey began with an associate degree in business and obtaining an electrical license, skills he utilized throughout his career.

Music was a passion that accompanied him throughout his life. Cale played several instruments, particularly enjoying the piano and saxophone. His love for music was evident during his time in high school and continued as he played in the Marine band.

A lifelong learner, Cale loved teaching and sharing his knowledge. He served as a Sunday School teacher, instructed at Brazosport Community College, and led Bible study in the Cy-Fair Coaches Outreach program for over a decade. Cale's faith was central to his life; he was an active deacon at First Baptist Cypress, serving on the building and grounds committee and leading a Men's Bible Study.

Cale cherished the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling, and gardening. He was an avid sports fan, often found cheering for his favorite football, basketball, and baseball teams.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved first wife of forty-nine years, Jo Ann Parker. Cale is survived by his devoted wife of eight years, Wanda; his son Steve and wife Shelly; daughter Julia and husband Donnie; son Stan and wife Susan; nine grandchildren, Nick (wife Lauren), Alexa (husband Ty), Brian, Caroline, Benjamin (wife Chrysantha), Bret (wife Ryland), Derek (wife Jacqi), Taylor, and Gabe; and four great-grandchildren, Forrest, Fisher, Tru, and Violet. He also leaves behind Wanda's family, including her son Donnie, grandson Trey, and great-grandson Kolt.

Cale's legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
