Buenafe Sinag Resurreccion was born in the Philippines on March 26, 1946, and passed away in Spring, Texas on October 18, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juanito Cueto Resurreccion and Teodorica Sinag; his son, Jerel Resurreccion; brothers, Ernesto Resurreccion, and Angelito Resurreccion and wife Gregoria; and brother-in-law, Roger Bautista.

Buenafe is survived by his wife, Medelina Ilag Resurreccion; his children, Paul Resurreccion and wife Hazel, Shelly Jamandre and husband Alan, and Sheryl Resurreccion-Davis and husband Antoine; grandchildren, Jerel, Jackson, Justin, Jonah, Savannah, Adelaide, Hudson, and Sovannary; and siblings, Lilia Bautista, Amalia Magahis and husband Danilo, Aniceta Bautista and husband Cesar, and Erlinda Ong;sister-in-law, Donna Resurreccion; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 with a Rosary service at 6 pm and Vigil to begin at 7 pm.  A funeral mass for Buenafe will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Christ The Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  He will be laid to rest in Klein Memorial Park in Pinehurst, TX.
