Bryan Tindol Davis (aka Uncle Bubba) our beloved son, brother, and uncle lost his battle with addiction on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the age of 33.   He is survived by his mother, Wendy Kachur; brothers, Taylor Davis and Kenneth Kachur; his sisters-in law, Alicia Davis and Kourtney Kachur; his two nieces, McKinley Davis and Jolene Davis (who were the loves of his life); his grandparents, Roy & Mary Sue Davis and Nadine Vandergriff; his best friend, Jesse Leon; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Bryan was preceded in death by his father, David "Bryan" Davis.  Bryan was born in Beeville, Texas, on April 24, 1990.  He moved to Houston, Texas, at the age of 4 where he spent the majority of his years in the Cy-Fair area.  He graduated from Cy-Ridge High School in 2008.

Bryan was a fun-loving, mischievous child.  He kept his parents on their toes. Our Frio River trips were his favorite vacations.  He was the goofy kid who mooned the PE class in middle school and then said an "inappropriate" term in Spanish because he didn't think his high school teacher (in Houston, Texas) knew Spanish!  At the same time, he showed great love for his brothers.  From giving up his school shoes money so his brother could get a pair that fit him to being the proudest big brother at his youngest brother's graduation from Marine Corps bootcamp.  He would have done anything for his two little brothers.

Bryan enjoyed sports.  He played baseball and football until he found "his" sport - high school wrestling.  He was voted Homecoming King his senior year.  As he grew older, he became a super fan of the Houston Astros.  He enjoyed the Texans and Rockets but nothing like he did the Astros.  One of his true joys were his beautiful nieces.  They had him wrapped around their little fingers.  He loved playing board and video games with them and he did NOT let them win.  Saying he was competitive is putting it mildly.

One of Bryan's most admirable traits was his acceptance of anyone and everyone.  Bryan was caring, loving, and goofy!  You couldn't help but love him.  He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and warm hugs.

There is so much to share about Bryan and how much we love him and all of our favorite memories.  We hope you join us in celebrating his life.  Services will be held at Klein Funeral Home – CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065, on Saturday, July 29, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.  To help celebrate Bryan, wear your favorite Astros gear and bring your favorite picture of him to post on the bulletin board and give to the family!   The family would really like to have pictures from friends and family.  Funny or sentimental – whatever captures Bryan's personality for you.

The family prefers donations in lieu of flowers but welcome either one.  Donations can be made to your choice of drug rehabilitation programs or to the one that is near and dear to the family's hearts – Shatterproof .
