Brittney was born on Christmas Day and as such she truly was a gift to her parents Ron and Darcy and older siblings Melissa, Alyson and Andrew.

Brittney was always very sweet and full of love and compassion. She was a selfless and empathetic person who cared deeply for people and animals alike. Brittney would always put others needs before her own and would routinely go out of her way to help total strangers.

Born in Red Deer, Alberta, as a child Brittney moved with her family to Calgary, Alberta and Lafayette, Louisiana before settling in the Tomball, Texas area in 2001, where she graduated early from Tomball High School in 2009 and subsequently earned a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in 2015.

After high school, Brittney's need to help others led her to work as a firefighter at Cypress Creek Volunteer Fire Department Station 21 where she remained serving while pursuing her Bachelor's Degree. Most recently Brittney was actively preparing for the national test to qualify as an Emergency Medical Technician.

It was through her work as a firefighter that led her to meet her future husband and love of her life Tim Westmoreland, a Harris County Precinct 4 police officer, and they married on May 17, 2015, just one week after her graduating from Sam Houston.

Brittney spent her free time enjoying life with Tim and their pets Kimber and Jupiter. She was the "glue" between all her extended family, constantly checking up on everybody's well being and organizing birthday and holiday events. Brittney adored her three nephews, Vincent, Declan and Ronan spending endless hours playing with and nurturing them, and she was truly adored by them. She was our official Christmas tree decorator, and we celebrated every Christmas with her Birthday Tree.

Brittney passed unexpectedly, she'll be greatly missed, and the world will suffer for her loss.

Brittney was predeceased by her Grandpa Andy, Father-in-Law Donnie, Auntie Donna and her cousin Ashley.

Brittney is survived by her husband Tim, Tim's mother Glenda and brother Chad, her parents Ron & Darcy, siblings Melissa (Erik), Alyson and Andrew (Randy), nephews Vincent, Declan & Ronan, Grandma Grace and grandparents Ron & Fran as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins.
