Brian Richard Iwaskewycz, 44, of Cypress, TX (formerly Monaca, Beaver County, PA), passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

He was born March 20, 1972 in Sewickley, PA and was the only child of Peter Iwaskewycz and Sandra (Moskal) Iwaskewycz and was married to Catherine Ann (Veltum) Iwaskewycz on April 26, 1997.


Brian grew up in Coraopolis, PA and graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994. He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, loved playing billiards and managed a local pool league in Beaver County, PA. He enjoyed bowling and golf and was quite the craft beer aficionado.


Brian is survived by his wife, Cate, their two sons, Cameron and Scott, parents, Pete and Sandy Iwaskewycz, mother-in-law Frances (Pavilaitis Veltum) Mego, three sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.


Friends are cordially invited to visitation with the family on Monday, October 3 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston TX 77065 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, which will include a prayer service at 7:00. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.


The family will be hosting a celebration of life in the Pittsburgh area at a later date.
