Brian K. Groccia 65 was welcomed home to be with the Lord on September 27th, 2022. He was born on August 25th, 1957 in Worcester, MA to Robert and Mae Groccia of Oxford, MA. A graduate of Oxford High School (1975) he excelled in various school sports and enjoyed being a member of the drumline. At 17, he enlisted into the United States Navy, where throughout his time received many certificates and accolades including multiple Bronze Stars. He served aboard a guided missile destroyer and a nuclear-powered submarine outfitted to deploy and retrieve special ops forces. He was part of 3 expeditions to the north pole, including breaking surface in the Artic Circle.

After his time in the Navy, he had an extensive career in Oil & Gas that spanned several decades. He was highly regarded both at work and in his personal life. Over the years he was also very charitable and involved in many organizations. Those who knew him knew he was loyal, trustworthy, kind, humble and most importantly, a man of great character.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mae Groccia.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Julie (Jules), his two daughters, Danielle (Matt) Bilberry of Cypress, TX, Ashley (Jacob) Johnson of Lake Charles, LA., his two step-daughters Lacey (Steve) Ochoa of Granby Colorado, Lindsey (Lou) Cornetti Greenville SC. His grandchildren whom were the joy of his life Savannah and Maverick Bilberry, and Owen Ochoa. His siblings, Michael J. (Cyndy) Groccia of Hudson N.H., Paul R. Groccia of Anchorage, AL, John D. Groccia of MA, David S. (Maggy) Groccia of Washington D.C., Bruce A. Groccia of Greenville NC, Kathleen M. Groccia of Leicester MA, MaryEllen Groccia of Bennington, VT, Anne Marie Krasnecky of Webster, MA, Gail F. Lowell of Dudley, and Lynda A. (Mark) Cutone of Nantucket and a host of other cherished relatives and friends.

He will be missed beyond measure and cherished all the rest of our days.
