Brian Firth was born in Pudsey, West Yorkshire England, of Scottish decent. He moved with his family to Houston in 1982 as a mechanical engineer for Hindle Hamer Vales. He achieved both a Bachelor and Master's degrees in engineering. Brian was an accomplished engineer pioneering many engineering first and was renowned and respected within the Oil Filed Valve industry earning many accolades. He gave back as often as he could and spent time as a volunteer firefighter and emergency responder. Dad loved anything with wheels and an engine and a passion for white cars and anything mechanical. He enjoyed solving problems, eating "good" food and spending time with his family. He was a terrific Papa and enjoyed spending time and playing games with his grandchildren and teaching them about life. He had a joyous heart full of energy and passion for life and adventure and took great pride in providing and caring for his family. Dad was always a humble man always grateful for a helping hand or kind gesture. In his final days he never broke his character as the provider and care giver, ensuring his wife Barbara the love of his life for more than 50 years and his family knew how much he appreciated them and how much he loved them.
