Brett Morgan at the age of 44 passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Houston, Texas. Brett was tragically struck by a vehicle while walking in a crosswalk and died instantly.

Brett was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 2, 1977 to Dana F. Egert and DiAnn G. Mills. He was son number 3. Brett lived with his parents in Toledo until 1980 when the family moved to Houston, Texas. He is survived by his parents: Dana and Becky Egert of Friendswood, Texas and Dean and DiAnn Mills of Houston, Texas. Siblings include: Benjamin Frey Egert of Davenport, Florida; Brian Justin Egert of El Paso, Texas; Beau Dana Egert of Friendswood, Texas, and Brittany DeLee Egert of Houston. Brett had one son Alesandro Séb astien Maradiega Egert. Brett's nieces and nephews: Blane Alan Channel, Boston Nicholas Egert, Grace Abigail Egert, Lane Walker Egert, and Ruby Faith Egert.

Brett attended Cy Fair ISD Schools: Hancock and Matzke Elementary, Bleyl Junior High, and graduated from Cypress Creek High School. He achieved many college hours before entering the US Marines.

After the military, Brett entered the Page Parkes Center of Modeling where he trained and worked as a model. He worked in the service industry, and for the last several years specifically in the restaurant business. Brett enjoyed varied interests: Commercial print, acting, pencil drawings, water skiing, soccer, marksman (rifle expert), and his military experience. Those who knew Brett appreciated his wit, kindness, and love of life. He also had a deep Christian faith and was a believer in Jesus. Brett lived in California for a few years and always wanted to return to the Golden State.

Visitation for Brett will be Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Klein Funeral Home – Champions location: 16131 Champion Forest Dr. Klein, TX 77379 (281) 320-2674 from 5 to 7: p.m. Celebration of Life for Brett will be Monday, August 9, 2021, at Klein Funeral Home at 2: p.m. followed by Graveside services at Klein Memorial Park – Spring Klein: 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas 77373 (281 320-2674).
