Brenda Jo Murrell (née Wisehart) died peacefully on May 28, 2017 in Spring, TX at the age of 73.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, David; son, Todd, daughter, Paige Sganga, son-in-law, Matt Sganga, sister, Frederika Wisehart Cohen, and her grandchildren; Mathew, Lauren, Luke and Brooke, sister- in-laws; Bonnie Hoffmaster and Brenda Kimbrough, and many nieces and nephews. Brenda is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Gerken and father Fred Wisehart.

Brenda was born on February 13, 1944 in Couch, MO. She graduated from Southwest Missouri State College with a degree in Music. Brenda married David Murrell her high school sweetheart, a civil engineer, in 1965. Brenda's family and friends remember Brenda as a witty, loving, and caring person who was always there to listen and could always be counted on to make things better.

Brenda was an accomplished musician and taught music and choir in the Klein School District. Brenda was a compassionate individual who loved her family above all else and who was dedicated to spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren.
