Obituary

Brenda Brady, cherished wife, mother, and grandmother ("Nana") and friend passed away after a brief battle with cancer on April 1, 2022.

Brenda was born in 1954, in Memphis, TN to Jay and Mary Standefer. She grew up in Portales, NM with her parents and three younger brothers. She and her husband, Danny, raised their two daughters in Spring, Texas. She was very proud of her kids and grandkids. She would always be the first to say, "I love you to the moon and back." She was an avid animal lover and passionate about all things related to dog rescue. She was known to bring home stray dogs from the time she was a young girl and into her adulthood, whether through rescue or ones found on the side of the road.

Brenda was preceded in death by her dad, Jay D. Standefer of Roswell, NM.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary Standefer; husband, Daniel Brady of Spring; daughter, Tasha Johnson and husband Jim of Spring; daughter, Holly Cole and husband Geoff of Aledo; grandchildren, Nathan, Mary, Brady, and Lydia; brother, Steve Standefer of Pinehurst; brother, Jay Don Standefer of Midland; brother, Bruce Standefer and wife Kathy Jo of Waller; and many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation from 9-11am followed by a graveside service from 11-12 on April 30th at Klein Memorial Funeral Home located at 14711 FM 1488 Magnolia, Texas 77354.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the dog rescue, Who Rescued Who.
