Brandon Downey was born on May 22, 2003 in Houston Texas to Austin Downey and Mirella Aguilar.

His presence was known when he walked into any room. He was very outspoken and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Although he had no filter, he was respectful, caring, kindhearted and affectionate. He loved football, all sports and was very competitive. He touched the hearts of all that he came across and could easily have a conversation with any and everyone. Brandon always had the biggest smile on his face and would encourage any individual if he thought they were down or just needed to see them smile. While he will be greatly missed here with us all and there is a deep sadness in his passing, we all know that death is not the end. This is the beginning of eternal life in Heaven.

He is survived in life by his parents, Austin Downey, and Mirella Aguilar. His brothers, Luis Moreno, and Daniel Aguilar. His sisters Bridgett Downey, Crista Carter, Ashley Downey, and Theresa Perales.

Brandon is proceeded in death by this grandparents, Mirella Castro and Catarino Moreno. Great grandparents Luis Raul and Maria Carmen Gaytan-Ramirez. His loving Aunt Vanessa Downey-Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Klein Funeral Home in Cypress. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. led by Pastor Terrace Clayton.
