Bobby Harold Jones, 92, of Houston, Texas, passed away August 31 ^st , 2022.  Bobby was born January 1 ^st , 1930, in Yoakum, Texas, to the late Garmen Lee Jones and Mamie Inez (Grimmer) Jones.

A committed, hard-working man, Bobby enjoyed a stellar career with Southwestern Bell (later, AT&T), beginning as a young lineman and retiring as a manager thirty-eight (38) years later.  Upon retirement, he moved to Sun City, an exclusive golfing community in Georgetown, Texas, where he regularly hit the links and enjoyed his favorite activity daily.  Bobby spent the last few months surrounded by his loving grandchildren Kimberly and Kevin and their families, whom he loved dearly, cherishing every moment.  He also loved his morning talks with his sister Lois.

Bobby is survived by his granddaughter, Kimberly (William) Colley, grandson Kevin (Jill) McDougald; great grandchildren, Haleigh Rhodes, Campbell Rhodes, Anna Colley, Logan McDougald, Emerson McDougald; great-great grandchild, Leyton Manela, and sister Mary Lois Bell.

Including his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by eight of his siblings, as well as his daughter, Pamela Gayle.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 9 ^th , 2022, at 10:00 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street Tomball, Texas 77375. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Klein Memorial Park 249 in Pinehurst, Texas.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Kevin McDougald, Logan McDougald, William Colley, Campbell Rhodes, Buddy Bell, and Larry Jones.
