Bobby Ray  Hawthorne, 71, departed after showing immense strength in his fight with cancer on September 4, 2024. He was born on November 16, 1952, in Oklahoma City to Ray and Betty Hawthorne.

Bobby owned and operated multiple successful businesses and was always incredibly generous to both the community as well as individuals. He married his wife, Marie in 1983, and together they raised four children, Savannah, Elizabeth,Houston and Hope. Bobby had a passion for music and spent the majority of his life playing the guitar and many years playing in bands. His three favorite things in life were playing his guitar, hunting and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marie; and his children, Savannah, Elizabeth, Houston and Hope.

A celebration of Bobby's life will be held on September 14, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home, followed by a private burial.
