Blanca creció en Matehuala, donde desde pequeña mostró su energía y su creatividad. De niña, participó con entusiasmo en los equipos de fútbol y atletismo de su escuela, y también formó parte del coro juvenil.
El 22 de septiembre de 1990, Blanca se casó con el amor de su vida, Homero Paz. Juntos emprendieron una nueva etapa en los Estados Unidos, llena de retos y sueños compartidos. Después recibieron con inmenso amor a sus dos hijos, Homero Angel Paz Jr. y Atzhiry Paz, quienes se convirtieron en el mayor orgullo de su vida.
Blanca fue una mujer de profunda fe, entregada a su familia y al Señor. Amaba asistir a la iglesia junto a sus seres queridos y vivía cada día confiando plenamente en Dios. Era muy querida en su parroquia, donde participó activamente en los ministerios de Encuentro Matrimonial y ACTS. Disfrutaba viajar con su familia, bailar, y cantar karaoke. Su amabilidad, su calidez y su inquebrantable amor a Dios tocaron el corazón de todos los que la conocieron.
Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Homero Paz; sus hijos, Homero Paz Jr. y su nuera Jessica Castillo, y su hija Atzhiry Paz junto a su prometido Matthew Herrera; su querido nieto, Mateo Paz; y sus hermanos, Mary Guerrero, Alicia Guerrero, Claudia Guerrero-Cruz, Juan Guerrero, Fernando Guerrero y Martín Guerrero.
Blanca fue recibida con gozo en el cielo por sus padres, Antonio Guerrero y Mariana Medina, y por su nieta, Aria Paz.
Blanca Maricela Guerrero-Paz, 56, of Katy, Texas, was called to the presence of the Lord on August 9, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1968, the daughter of Antonio Guerrero and Mariana Medina, in Matehuala, S.L.P., Mexico.
Blanca grew up in Matehuala, where from a young age she showed her energy and creativity. She loved participating in her school's soccer and track teams and singing in the youth choir.
On September 22, 1990, she married the love of her life, Homero Paz. Together they decided to begin a new life in the United States, filled with challenges, dreams, and shared moments. Later, they welcomed their two children, Homero Angel Paz Jr. and Atzhiry Paz, who were always her pride and her greatest blessing.
Blanca was a woman of deep faith, devoted to the Lord and her family. She loved attending church with her loved ones and lived each day placing her full trust in God. She was greatly loved in her parish, where she actively participated in the Marriage Encounter and ACTS ministries. She enjoyed traveling with her family, dancing, and singing karaoke. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for God touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Homero Paz; her children, Homero Paz Jr. and his wife Jessica Castillo, and her daughter Atzhiry Paz along with her fiancé Matthew Herrera; her beloved grandson, Mateo Paz; and her siblings, Mary Guerrero, Alicia Guerrero, Claudia Guerrero-Cruz, Juan Guerrero, Fernando Guerrero, and Martín Guerrero.
She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Antonio Guerrero and Mariana Medina, and by her granddaughter, Aria Paz.
