Billy Don Vaughan, 89, of Spring, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Tomball, Texas.
Billy was born on August 7, 1936, in Nixon, Texas, to Vernon and Roxie (Owens) Vaughan. He built a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. Billy worked as a geological technician and proudly served in the National Guard.

On August 10, 1958, Billy married Mary Louise Gillory, and together they welcomed two children, Donald Vaughan and Chyrle Denise Vaughan Smith. On July 22, 1972, Billy married Marsha Unger, and together they welcomed two children, Ryan Vaughan and Matthew Vaughan. Billy and Marsha shared a devoted life of love and family.

Billy was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and poured his time into his community as a Boy Scouts leader, shaping lives through mentorship and steady guidance. He also enjoyed the outdoors as a hunter and was an avid sports fan, always ready to cheer on his favorite teams.

Billy is survived by his wife, Marsha Unger Vaughan; his former wife, Mary Louise Gillory Cavazos; his children, Donald (Sandra) Vaughan, Chyrle Denise Vaughan Smith, Ryan (Leslie) Vaughan, and Matthew (Lindsey) Vaughan; and his grandchildren, Chyrle Lynn Smith and Brittnee Jewel Smith, Aaron (Ashleigh) Vaughan, Justin Vaughan, Jason Vaughan, Avery Vaughan, and Kenna Vaughan.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas.
