Billy Gene Oliver, 78, passed away on September 18, 2018 with family by his side in Houston, TX.

Billy was born on November 2nd 1939, in Hazard, Kentucky to William Oliver and Mattie Irene Bowling.

His dedication and dependability could not be overstated.  Every morning he woke up and read the Bible with a cup of coffee in hand.   Billy was the very first employee of Sunbelt Medical Corporation in 1989 where he worked through his retirement 20+ years later.  No matter the request, Billy would find any way he could to help his family and friends.

Billy's interests included gardening, travel, fishing, collecting coins, enjoying time with his family, and entertaining his grandkids.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 37 years, Clarita; and their son, Kevin (Marla) Oliver.  He is also survived by his brother Jack (Sandy) Engle; sister Joyce (Art) Windsor; his daughter Cricket Oliver of Champaign, IL; daughter Lynn Tooles of Urbana, IL; son Buddy (Kathy) Oliver of Champaign IL; daughter Teany (Bobby) Bailey of Champaign, IL; daughter Lisa (Allen) Parker of St. Petersburg, FL; son Jeff Oliver of Rantoul, IL; 15 grandkids, 26 great-grandkids, 1 great-great-grandkid, and countless other family and close friends.
