Billy Frank Jackson
1936- 2016
Billy Frank Jackson, age 79, of Houston passed away peacefully on Thursday, the 15th of September, 2016. He was born in Midland, TX on the 3rd of November, 1936 to Videl McLeod and William Jackson. He was the third of three children. His childhood was spent in Houston. After Graduating from Milby High School he enlisted in the Army, and following his discharge he attended the University of Houston and is a proud graduate with the class of 1959. In 1961 he met and married the love of his life, Jerry Sue Dixon of Healdton Oklahoma. Their 55 years of marriage was a beautiful example of love and loyalty for family and friends. Bill and Sue Jackson raised their two daughters north of Houston where Bill cherished time with his immediate family as well as extended family. They were active members of Champion Forest Baptist Church, and lived for friendship, laughter and meals with close friends from Church, the neighborhood and "The Lodge". He was a self employed Real Estate Appraiser from 1971- 2016. He enjoyed his work, but most importantly he valued friendships with his fellow employees and work associates. He had a love for laughter, family, friends, bowling, hunting, piloting and the family table. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister and his brother: Videl and William Jackson, Imogene Wilson and William Jackson Jr.. He is survived by his wife, Jerry Sue and their children: Donna and Robert Harris, and Jeanne and Blake Pfeffer; and his adoring grandchildren Avery Harris, Ben Pfeffer, Grace Pfeffer, Suzanne Pfeffer, Annie Harris, Blake Pfeffer Jr, Johanne Harris and Emmanuel Harris.
Visitation is Sunday, September 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 at Klein Funeral Home,16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring Tx 77379. Funeral service for Mr Jackson is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 19th of September also at Klein Funeral Home. Interment will be immediately following the service there at the cemetery.
