Billie Jane Wuest, 92 of Houston passed away on November 3, 2023, in Houston, TX. Billie was born in East St. Louis, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph (Mick) Wuest, parents, Leslie and Lucy Turcott, and sister Virginia Erwin. She is survived by her sister Jo Ann Williams of Arnold MO, daughter, Linda Jacobs (Joseph), and son Micheal Wuest of Carlyle, IL. Other survivors include granddaughters Jennifer Goodwin (Brian), Melissa Goedde (Christian), and four great grandchildren, Rachel and Jacob Goodwin and Tess and Lila Goedde along with nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.

Billie was a homemaker and a businesswoman. She worked in her father's heating and air conditioning business, eventually taking ownership and running the business with her husband. She was a gifted artist creating many pieces that will be cherished by the family through the years. Billie left Illinois and moved to the Houston area in 2010 to be near her daughter's family where she was a part of celebrations, Sunday night dinners, and all the activities in which her great-grandchildren participated. She was an active member of her independent living social group and enjoyed going on outings and lunches, playing bingo, and continued to nurture her creative side by attending art classes and flower arranging.

A memorial service will be held at Northwoods Presbyterian Church, 3320 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, 77068 on November 21, 2023, at 11:00 am. The interment will be in Illinois. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the church or charity of your choice.
