Billie Jo Nelson, age 80, of Spring, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Tomball, Texas. She was born in Pasadena Texas on February 11, 1939 to Henry Harrison Reed and Ellery Williams. Billie Jo worked in the accounting department of multiple oil companies and later went into Real Estate and started her own company, Grandeur Properties. She married Julius (Jay) Nelson in 1970 and together they filled their house with their precious dogs, as they were both animal lovers.  She is preceded in death by both parents; husband J.A. Nelson; brother Henry Harrison Reed III; sister Lauana Lea Dement and brother Craig Arthur Reed.   Survivors include her sister Cherokee Caddell and husband Roger of Conroe, Texas, brother Douglas Marcom Reed and wife Leigh of South Carolina; step children Rex Blakely, Juliene Tomlinson and William Nelson; her brothers-in-law, Mason Dement and James (Lanny) Jones and wife, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as a great-great niece survive her and lastly her beloved dog Prissy.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 5 PM at Klein Funeral home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, Texas 77375. Billie Jo will be buried with her husband at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
