Billie Jo Lawing Foshee, 88 went to join her heavenly Father, Friday, March 20, 2020. She was born in Arlington, Texas, December 16, 1931. Billie was the daughter of Herman Lawing and Letha Davis Lawing. She married Ronald Earl Foshee II in December 1951.
Billie was a devoted Christian woman, who shared the love of the Lord with her family. She was fun, loving, and out-spoken with a very joyous personality. In high school Billie was a member of the band, a class officer and elected as class favorite. She also represented Arlington High School as Rodeo Sweetheart her senior year at Fort Worth Fat Stock Show.
Billie had many jobs in her life, but she's best known as a mother, grandmother, and G.G. mom (great-grandmother). Billie was an avid Astros fan. She was also a cheerleader and had great joy in watching all her family play sports, everyone knew the grandma was in the stands! Her true gift was her love and generosity that she shared with each child in her life, old and young. She shared love, hugs and many words of wisdom.
Billie Jo Foshee was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Earl Foshee II, sister Herma Lee Casey, her two children Susan Christopher and Ronald Earl Foshee III. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Linda Booker (Tommy), Debbie Whitton (Johnny), Teresa Cardamone, and Alden Foshee (Evelyn), fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Billie will have a private family graveside.
