Beverly Kay Ryan Robbins, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1940, in Centralia, Illinois, to Joseph and Hazel Ryan.
She is survived by Joe Robbins, her sister Von Mack, and her children:
Dianna, (Mark)
Dan, (Nancy)
Jackie, (George)
Mona, (Don- deceased)
Denise (Ray)
Beverly was a loving grandmother to Elizabeth, Marissa, Alis, Robert, Danny, Samantha, Austin, Andy, Kristyna, Erica, Jake, Bandon, and Brittini, and a great-grandmother to Lillyan, Avin, Alexandria, Olivia, Knox, Kassie, Zachary, Ezra, Eleanor, Sterling, Everly, and London. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
After 26 years as an IT Manager with the City of Houston, Beverly enjoyed retirement RVing, crafting, reading, and tracing her genealogy back to the 1700s. in Ireland, heading up the Ryan reunions, spending time with her family including all the grand and great grandchildren, creating crafts, puzzling and reading. She treasured time with her family most of all.
She was preceded in death by her mom, dad, sisters, a bother, her son, Joe Shaffer, and other loved ones.
Funeral Service: October 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, TX.
Celebration of Life: October 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM, 5411 Green Pines, Houston, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North American Butterfly Association — a tribute to her love of butterflies:
