Betty Louise Smith, 78 of Tomball Texas went to be with her Lord and savior on 24 of December 2025 peacefully in her home.

She was born to parents Jesse Lindsey Homan and Edith Mae Gresham, on 08 February 1947 in Tupelo, Mississippi.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, often organizing family vacations to Garner State Park. She was a constant, loving force in all of our lives, deeply involved in every moment that mattered and forever shaping the family we are today. She worked joyfully well into retirement, because of her love for her job and co-workers, taking great pride in her role at the company.

She was a loving and devoted mother to 2 children, and Nanee to 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her late husband Dan W. Smith.

She is survived by her brother Jesse Homan Jr and wife Alice,

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at

10:30am on January 5 at

Tomball Bible Church

400 N. Walnut St.

Tomball, Tx 77375

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her name. She was their strong supporter for over 20 years.
