Betty Frances Meanor Stone - a.k.a. Red 1935-2022 Betty Frances Meanor Stone, also lovingly known as
"Granny", "Nana" or "Red" went to be with Jesus peacefully on her birthday, January 16, 2022.
She was born to William and Frances Johnson on January 16, 1935 in Houston, Texas. She was 87 years of age.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene E Stone, previous husband William G "Bill" Meanor,
brother William E Johnson, Jr., sister-n-law Katherine Eloise Johnson, nephew Michael S Johnson, infant
grandson Douglas Brian Stotts, Jr., infant granddaughter Jessica Mae Meanor, infant grandson Cooper Michael
Penny.  Betty is survived by her daughter Sandy Lynn and husband Doug B Stotts; son Donald E Meanor; daughter Krysti
Glenette and husband Brad M Penny, and son William G "Bill Jr." Meanor and wife Nicole; ten grandchildren and
twelve great-grandchildren. Betty was a true "people person" who loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was known for
being an enthusiastic cleaner, no one could vacuum like she could. She transformed her home into a winter
wonderland at Christmas with beautiful decorations and baked enormous gingerbread men. Betty loved her little dogs and would carry them around in her purse-even to graduations! Wherever she went Betty touched the hearts of everyone who met her. She filled
every room with her laughter, her smile, and her beautiful red hair. It is fitting that she will be remembered by most
who knew her for her energy, compassion, boundless kindness and generosity.  Betty loved her community and gave back everyday. She
volunteer at Tomball Hospital and Conroe Regional Hospital for many years. She worked part-time at Klein's
Super Market for many years and was beloved by her coworkers and customers. She drove the school bus for
Conroe ISD and Spring ISD for over 31 years, many of which was spent driving the handicapped bus. She loved
her kiddos and they loved her.  Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00pm to
8:00pm at Klein Memorial Park Funeral Home, 1400 W Main Street, Tomball, TX.
Funeral service will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:00am at Klein Memorial Park Funeral Home, Tomball.
Our family is extremely thankful for her devoted caregivers at Timberwood Nursing & Rehabilitation
Center and Harbor Hospice, Livingston, TX.  They were all so compassionate and committed to caring
for her every day over the past seven years during her illness.
