Betty Ruth McQuiggin, 100 of Spring Texas went to her heavenly home on July 28, 2025.
She was born in Milwaukee WI to Henry and Hattie Marie Nehrbass. She married the love of her life, William John McQuiggin on September 14, 1946. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Their marriage was filled with laughter, dancing and the blessing of five children. Betty and Bill moved to Texas from California in 1970. They were business owners and Betty worked at Texas Instruments.
Betty stayed active and busy throughout her life. She loved her women's church Bible studies, walking and being active at gym, being a active member in the Northwest Business Women's Organization along with several other charities and community organizations. She always enjoyed a fun game of Bunco or Train with her friends. Her greatest passion was her family. She loved every family get together and celebration. She was always in the center of any fun filled family memories.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill McQuiggin, Sons Mike McQuiggin and Dennis McQuiggin. Her daughter Kathy Fullen and son-in-law John Dinnigan and Roger Wittenberns.
She is survived by her two daughters, Merry Dinnigan and Patty Wittenberns. Son in law John Fullen and Daughter in law Verlyn Weiderholt. Grandchildren, Jim and Stephanie Hansen, Aerin and Matt Reinhart, Brian and Jessie McQuiggin, Nolan and Mel McQuiggin, Kim and Brad Jurischk, and Ricky Fullen. She had 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St Timothy Lutheran Church, 14225 Hargrave Houston Texas on Friday August 15, 2025, at 11 AM. There will be a graveside committal at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Klein Cemetery Road at 1:30 PM.
