Betty Elizabeth Linkhart, 95, of Katy, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was Born May 31, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel & Charlie Wellman; her loving husband of 70 years, George Linkhart; and her sons, Charlie, Johnny, and Steve.
Betty is survived by her two children, son, Dean, daughter, Judy, and their families; her brother, Butch, sister, Guynelle, and their families; sister-in-law, JoAnn Williams, brother-in-law, Anthony Linkhart, and their families; her many friends; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was always very proud of all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, bragging often about all of them.
She also leaves behind her two dogs, Buddy and Littlelady (her babies), and her many cats.
Betty graduated from Incarnate Word Academy. She worked as a telex operator at Reading and Bates for many years. Her hobbies included her arts and crafts and taking care of animals. She was a very big animal lover.
Friends are invited to visit with the family between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065.
