BETTY JO HUSS

Betty Jo Huss, 86, of Cypress died Sunday February 10, 2019 at her residence.

Betty grew up in Hammond Indiana and was a retired schoolteacher. She was a graduate of Purdue University. She taught middle school and high school English in Illinois and the Houston area. She also taught English as a second language to adults and worked as a teacher with underprivileged children in Harris County. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her animals and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, William A. Huss; a son, David Wasson (Michele) of Hammond, Indiana; two daughters, Susan Schultz (James) of Danville, California Carol Wasson of Cypress, Texas, and four grandchildren
