Betty Louise Helfrich age 87 of Rose Hill was born on April 27, 1935 and passed away on August 3, 2022 in Tomball. She is preceded in death by her husband Milton Joseph Helfrich Sr., parents Richard and Clara Schultz, brother Clyde Schultz, brother-in-laws Doug Sefcik and Buddy Kreitz, and sister-in-law Leona Helfrich. Betty was the first born of eleven children so naturally she helped her mom with the caregiving of her siblings. On August 3, 1957 she married Milton Helfrich and the two started and ran a dairy business in Rose Hill until Milton's retirement in 1985. Milton and Betty were lifelong members of St Anne Catholic church where Betty devoted countless volunteer hours as a CCE teacher, Eucharistic Minister, Bazaar volunteer, member of the Altar Society, Bereavement committee, Catholic Daughters of the Americas (Charter Member) and was a faithful Adoration volunteer. During the past few years she enjoyed riding the gator to the farm to check on the cattle and give "suggestions" about managing the herd. She loved having children (especially grandchildren) in her home and was well known for her cooking and baking skills. If you have ever had her potato salad, chicken salad, cornbread dressing, and coconut, lemon, and chocolate pies you know without a doubt you have had the best. She enjoyed flowers and had a collection of African Violets in her dining room. Most recently she spent time in and out of skilled nursing facilities and looked forward to her "granddogs" Missy and Springer being at her side while at home. Betty passed away on their 65th wedding anniversary. She celebrated here on earth with us before going to heaven for the big celebration with Milton and all those who preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her daughter Catherine (Helfrich) Kaminski and husband David, her son Milton Helfrich Jr and wife Wanda, and daughter Sharon Helfrich. Sisters Shirley (Schultz) Sefcik, Delphine (Schultz) Zaboroski and husband Gene, Lavern (Schultz) Klenk and husband Leon, Aline (Schultz) Dickey, Mary Ann (Schultz) Faulkner, and Cindy (Schultz) Coghlan. Brothers Walter Schultz and wife Ann, Leslie Schultz and wife Karen, and Tommy Schultz and wife Debbie. Sister-in-laws Delores Kreitz and Pat Schultz. Grandchildren Lauren Kaminski, Christa (Kaminski) Donalson and husband Chris, Jason Kaminski, Nicholas Kaminski, and Shane Helfrich and wife Erin. Great-grandchildren Tyler and Emma Donalson. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Betty's kind and generous ways will be missed by all who knew her.
