Betty was loved by her family and many friends. Her gifts to her family and friends were through her great cooking and her southern hospitality. You were always welcome at Betty's house. Betty and Arthur E. Caten were married March 30th, 1957 . Betty and Edward started their married life with Edward serving in the Navy from 1957 to 1962. Houston became their home around 1962-1963 and this is where the family has resided and raised their family.
Betty had a beautiful heart and was so giving. She will receive her crown in heaven for her generosity and giving. She had such a peace about her and at the same time, she stood her ground. She was raised on a farm in Louisiana and persevered through many challenges in her life, even up until the time of her death. She will be missed by all and will always remain in our memories and will live in our hearts forever. She left a great example for all of us to follow. We do miss you now and will see you again in Heaven.
