Betty Jean Burgin's Obituary
?Betty Jean (Vacek) Burgin, born March 11, 1938, in Houston, died peacefully in her home on Friday, October 20, 2017, in Spring. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Francis and Helen Margaret Vacek.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bobby J. Burgin; five children, Debra Oster and her husband Ray, Margaret Zorzi and her husband Kim, Carolyn Burgin, James Burgin, and Christy Burgin; two sisters, Helen Holman and Lamont Vaille; sister-in-law, Shirley Barnhart; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. A service celebrating Betty's life and faith will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 27, at North Oaks Baptist Church, 18411 Stuebner Airline Road, Spring, TX 77379, with Pastor Caleb Fleming officiating. Interment will take place in Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920, Tomball, followed by a reception at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to The Gideons International, Tomball Camp (P.O. Box 605, Tomball, TX 77377-0605), or North Oaks Baptist Church.
